CSU Channel Islands is deeply grateful for a generous gift to establish the Michele Serros endowment. The Chicana writer, poet and social commentator passed away in 2015 and left her collection of artifacts to the university. A personal friend and number one fan generously and anonymously established the endowment for the Chicano/a Studies program and students at CSUCI and is inviting others in the community to contribute to help build this important program. Funds will be used for cultural learning opportunities that prepare students to serve the Latinx /Chicano/a communities. If you would like to help build this important endowment, visit the Give to the Michele Serros Endowment page.
